Sunday the 30th of December
Well here we are at a another year end. I don't know why, but I am always eager to let go of the previous year and get on to the next. Las Vegas has one heck of a New Years Eve. They are shutting down the strip to traffic at 5:00 pm tomorrow and that's when the BIG party starts! We are expecting over 300,000 visitors this New Years Eve here in Las Vegas!! Whew!! That's a LOT of peeps! There will be fireworks shot off the top of seven hotels in sync at the stroke of midnight! It is so COOL!! Down on Fremont Street in old town they have live bands and all kinds of entertainment going on. At some of the bigger hotels and night clubs they pay big celeb's big bucks to party at their club’s. Paris and Nikki Hilton are getting $500,000 for partying New Years Eve at the LAX night club. Pamela Anderson will be at the Pure night club for $150,000 Dave Navvaro will be at the Rain Club. Kevin Federline will be at the Tangerine. The list goes on and on.
Do you make New Year Resolutions? Not me! I never, ever keep them.
I want to shout out, THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all my customers that have made 2007 a great year for me. You all have been very wonderful!! All your nice words and encouragement are fuel for the fire! They really keep me going!!!!!
I have been busy, busy, busy creating Valentine Day beads. I will get some posted as soon as I can.

Whew!! Time is starting to fly by! Did everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving, and didja stuff your faces or what? I sure did!! It's almost time to start counting down the days to Christmas, so ya better get planning. Eeeek!!! Huh???? Yeah, that's how I feel too :0) Actually I am doing much better this year than in recent years gone by. OK, I have a few new auctions on eBay, click the pics to view. Good morning! It's almost Thanksgiving. I can't wait to pop that first bite of stuffing and gravy in my mouth. This also signals the arrival of "getting out the Christmas decorations". It's also that time of year to be thankful for all the good things in life and that especially means family!!!! Love you guys!!

Christmas Candy
Brrrrrrr, fall has for sure arrived in the desert. I have been wearing shorts every day until today. I sure hope we don't get froze out like last year. The palm tree's have finally all recovered from that.
Hubby and I went to the Grand Canyon and went to the new "Skywalk". It is about two and half hours away by car from Las Vegas. The Skywalk is a half circle glass bottomed bridge that juts out over the Grand Canyon. Here's a link, Grand Canyon West Skywalk, click on the skywalk for a short video. It was so SCARY FREAKY for me as I totally freak out over heights. I still managed to walk it two times becuase it was just so darn cool. Here's a few pics from that day. The one of me holding the tickets is where we are just getting ready to go on the skywalk and I look pretty apprehensive. It took me awhile of hiking around before I could commit myself to go on the Skywalk. The Skywalk is to the left of me in the picture.
  Ya know, I don't think there is any bluer sky than Nevada has. This last pic is just a teeny tiny portion of the canyon. Eons ago, the canyon was created by fire and crushing tetonic plates and then flooded by a tropical sea. As the sea receded, the colorado river started and then began scouring layer after layer of red rock off the canyon walls. That little river way down there is the one I'm talking about. Amazing!!

OK folk's. I have been torching the hours away doing Christmas Beads. I know I passed up Thanksgiving this year. My Bad!! I was so into Halloween beads this year that I just could not quit making them in time to get some Thanksgiving ones done.

  I It's Snowing! GingerBread Men/People
Hubby and I just about got the Atrium remodel done. I added some cute fat bellied and goofy eyed goldfish to the pond that is in there and planted up the sides. Now we have to make a little waterfall for it. I LOVE it out there now! Before we bought this house it was a place where they kept birds and it wasn't pretty!
I'm off to go make some din-din and clean up and photograph some more beads for tomorrow. Talk soon fellow bead lovers!
